You become what you focus on

Proverbs 4:25 Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.

Whatever you keep your focus on, you become. The athlete keeps his eyes and focus on crossing the winning line. When we allow ourselves to be distracted, we lose faith and direction. Instead, let us maintain our focus on Jesus, the author of our salvation!

Why complain about lack, when you can declare: “Father, thank you for supplying all my needs.  You said you would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that I could not contain. Here’s what I need today.”

Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Prayer:

Merciful and wonderful Father, I thank you for this day. Give me the focus to keep my eyes always upon you. May I not allow family, friends, work, life, to take away my focus. Keep me in your bosom safe and sound. In Jesus name, Amen!
