Walking in obedience to God’s calling
Acts 8:29 The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”
In this story in Acts, Phillip was given a directive. He would not have understood why, but he followed the instructions. God’s Spirit led him to approach the chariot just as the eunuch as reading the word. Phillip obeyed and just in time to tell the eunuch about the good news about Jesus.
Do you follow the instructions or guidance of the Holy Spirit? Or do you fight against the Lord to fulfill your own desires?
What has the Lord placed upon your heart to do that you are fighting against? Yes, obedience is not always easy, but the end result always places us in a better place.
Walk in faith and do what God has asked you to do. He will always provide everything you need, at the right time. God has an abundant supply, and He wants to share it with us.
2 John 1:6 –And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
Declaration: The Lord can keep me from falling, even though I live among a perverse generation! (Jude 24-25)
