Timing is Everything!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens”

The year 2020 is coming to an end. 2021 is upon us! What a year it has been! At the start of the year, could you have predicted what this year would look like? How many of your plans were changed because of the events of the year?

Yet, God has shone his face upon us. He has blessed us and taken us through the tough times. 

In what ways have you seen the Lord working in your life this year?

This year has reminded us not to rely on ourselves, but to rely on God!

The only way we can trust in God’s timing is through spending more time with Him, allowing His word to shape our hearts and to bend our knees before Him. As our relationship with Him progresses the ability to be patient, still, and obedient only become necessities for this relationship.

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Prayer for God’s Perfect Timing

I bow humbly before Your mighty throne of grace, where I obtain mercy and worship You Abba, in spirit and in truth. Thank You, blessed Father, for always answering to my every call.

Lord, so often I lose faith, but you never let me down. You always work things out for my benefit. Your timing is perfect and I trust in You!

Help me to be patient as you continue to work all things out for me. Give me the faith and strength to trust in your word and timing. I hold on steadfastly to the promises of your word. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
