The Daily Blessing of God’s Word – Take Authority!
Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?
Are you facing people coming against you, against your household, against your family? Whatever the situation you are facing today, it’s time to take authority.
When you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, you were delivered from the power of darkness.
Colossians 1:13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
You have been delivered from the dominion, power, and authority of darkness and placed into God’s blessed kingdom.
One of the most important areas of a Christian’s authority is his power to successfully stand against Satan.
Ephesians 4:27 nor give place to the devil.
And James 4:7 says, YOU resist the devil, and he will flee from YOU.
He says, “YOU be strong in the Lord. YOU put on the whole armor of God that YOU will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. YOU take the whole armor of God that YOU may be able to withstand in the evil day; and having done all, YOU stand.”
God has given you the power and the authority to stand against Satan and his destructive works. He has provided the armor, but it is your responsibility as a believer to put on that armor and stand against the devil.
Don’t pray and ask God to fight Satan for you. You are the one in authority. Take your responsibility and speak directly to Satan yourself and stand your ground firmly. He will flee!
Remind yourself that you are a child of the Living God and the enemy has no authority over you. Your father is your protector, and greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world.
Let Us Pray
Heavenly Father, give me the strength and confidence to take the authority that you have blessed me with. May I rise to the challenge and overcome.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I take authority over and bind all demonic forces that attempt to come close to my home, and my family.
I bind all curses, witchcraft, hexes and spells, and all occult activity that attempts to exert itself on my family and household.
I cover my family in the precious protective blood of the Lamb. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
