Refresh others and be refreshed!

Proverbs 11:25 NLT The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Do you need refreshing today? Feeling down, tired, frustrated? You need a smile and some encouragement in your life today.

The wisdom of the Book of Proverbs speaks to you today. Make someone else smile. Refresh someone else. There’s someone who needs to hear a good positive encouraging word from you.

As you bless their lives, you yourself will be refreshed.

The Message Bible puts it this way: The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.

Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father, my soul is overwhelmed by life this week. I am tired, and frustrated. I don’t know how to face another day like this. Lord, be my strength. Refresh this weary soul as I refresh others. 

Stand by my side. Replenish this languishing and sorrowful person. 

Refresh me fully and fill me with your joy, oh Heavenly Father. Wipe away my tears of today. May I be a source of inspiration to others. In Jesus’ Holy name I pray, Amen!
