Prayer—You Are Not Alone!

AD!

Struggling with that sensation of walking this leg of your journey all alone? The Holy Spirit is behind you, orchestrating every step and chapter of your life. He is the ever present helper, confidant, and the very presence of God.

“Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10

It may look like you are all alone and there’s nobody to hold your hand, but the Lord Jesus is right in your boat with you. No matter how stormy it is or how troubled the waters get, God’s with you, and His love for you is constant.

Hebrews 13:5. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Everything may appear stagnant, nothing moving forward. But there is a chapter God is crafting. Even with financial hardships, ill health, unemployment, hurt and disappointments, never give up on God.

“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6

Have faith in God, knowing that all things work together for good for those that love him.

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” — Deuteronomy 31:8

Let Us Pray

Father, there are times I feel all alone and totally forgotten. There are these moments when I feel so insignificant and less than loved.

Yet, I know that You will never leave me nor forsake me. You said in Your word: “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of their womb? Yes, they may forget, but I will never forget you”. Heavenly Father, You will never forget me.

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20

My life may be in shambles and far from what I want it to be. But I know that You are intentional about every process that you take me through. I know you are there behind the scenes, working out things for my good.

And so, Oh Lord, my God, help me to fully trust in your love and not lean on my own understanding. I serve a great and mighty God. You see the bigger picture. Direct my steps each and every day. May I listen to your voice and do your will.

I trust you, oh God. I have faith that even when I don’t understand, you are leading me through. In the name  of Jesus Christ. Amen

Isaiah 49:15-16. “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
