Prayer When You Need Companionship

We all at some time, go through periods of loneliness. Sometimes having people around us doesn’t prevent us from feeling alone.

There’s a friend who sticks closer than a brother. He is Jesus. His name is a strong tower, where the righteous run into and are safe. He is the ever present help in time of need. A bruised reed he will not crush, a smoking flax He will not quench nor will He quench the smallest hope.

The Lord is always near and ready to bless and help us.

There’s no better time than now to deepen your relationship with the Lord. Reach out in prayer and spend time in worship. You are an overcomer. He has already won the victory.

The storm is over. Allow your faith to move you forward. You can face the challenges with the Lord at your side. Greater is HE who is in you than he who is in the world. Do not limit God but dwell on his word daily and be lifted up.

Proverbs 18:24. A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Matthew 12:20. A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench, till He sends forth justice to victory.

He is near to those who are lonely, heartbroken, and those who are crushed in spirit. In Him, the Gentiles will trust. Those who look to Him will shine with joy, and their faces will not blush with shame.

Psalms 34:18. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Let Us Pray

Oh Lord, my strength! The High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity. In You I put my trust, oh God.

My hope is in You. I will not trust flesh or make the arm of flesh my strength. You revive the spirit of the humble. You are near to those with a broken heart. You heal them and takes care of their wounds.

Psalms 147:3. He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.

I need You Lord. I need Your comfort, love and peace. I need someone to lean on. Be near me, Lord. My heart is lonely, broken and in need of true friendship. You are my Comforter and Companion. You are a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Your love and faithfulness towards me is unending.

Fill my heart with peace again. Make my face to radiate with joy as I look unto You. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
