Prayer to Trust God’s Plan For Us
We live in very confusing and disruptive times. Among many of us, the disruptions are diverse. Some are dealing with marital issues. Others are facing financial hurdles, health challenges, family problems, new opportunities and or political and social upheavals.
Wherever you are facing, place your trust in God’s plan for you. “Thy will be done “.
So often, we want to impose our plans, rather than God’s. We force these plans then expect the Lord to bless them when they go wrong.
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. – Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC
There are numerous verses of Scripture in the Bible that confirm how much we must love, trust and seek after God’s heart and purpose. Romans 8:28, Proverbs 3: 5&6, Deuteronomy 28: 1-14 and Luke 10:27.
Matthew 6: 30-33 says, “Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.“
The truth is, it’s only when you seek after God’s business, He will in turn take care of all that concerns you.
Sometimes when you are in a dark place, it may appear that you are buried, but actually you have been planted.
The key here is to get concerned about God’s heart. He’s quite capable of taking care of yours, seek after Him and let Him handle everything else, Amen.
Prayer to Trust God’s Plan
Heavenly Father, God Almighty, your word is all powerful. Jehovah Rapha, I approach Your throne of grace and mercy, thanking You, the authors and finisher of my faith, for all You have done.
Father, sometimes my life does not go according to plan. There are twists, turns, valleys, mountains and bridges along the way that may sometimes leave me feeling discouraged.
I put my faith and trust in You always to work every situation out for me, for it is all a part of my destiny.
Help me to trust in You, Oh God, for You know the plans You have for me. You alone truly knows what I’m going through. In Jesus mighty name, Amen!
