Prayer To Be The Head And Not The Tail!

Deuteronomy 28:12-13 The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

AD!

And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.

We are heirs to the blessings of Abraham through Christ Jesus – praise God!

When Adam sinned in the garden, part of the curse was that He would toil by the sweat of his brow for his living.

But, Jesus paid the price that the curse would be broken and now gives us His yoke which is easy, and His burden, which is light.

Deuteronomy 28:12-13 declares that the Lord will send rain and bless all the work that you do. You shall be the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail.

God has purposed for you to be on top and never at the bottom.

Start believing and declaring the promises of God on your life every day. Especially in the dry season, declare His promises and keep His Word. Be obedient to the Lord.

Believe and declare that these promises are for you today through Christ.

Let Us Pray

Righteous and ever-living God, I come before You with absolute humility and a sober heart. I bless You for all your favors and blessings. Father, You are the master planner, and everything You say and do is perfect.

Lord, let Your will be done in my life. Father, I ask that you take over my life and lift me up. Just as You have promised in Your Word, Lord, make me the head and not the tail.

I thank You, Lord Jesus, for the gift of today and for this blessed morning. When I am down, You lift me up, just as You have promised in Your Word. Your will for me is to be the head and not the tail. This morning, I put my trust in God’s Word, because I know Your Word is truth, and light.

Deuteronomy 28:13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them,…

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

In my academics, place of work, social gatherings, fellowship, and where ever I find myself, fill me with Your grace so I can illuminate Your love and stand out and above.

Father, I am not perfect that You would grant me all this. I am aware that I have wronged You a lot. Lord, help me to do better.

I don’t want my sins to weigh me from getting to the place You have set for me. Fill me with Your strength that I may resist the things that pull me down and takes me away from You. I ask this through your son Jesus Christ my Lord, Amen.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
