Prayer For Walking into the Unknown
Isaiah 41:10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
When we are facing new challenges in our life, illness within the family, loss of income, unexpected expenses, a new job in a new city or country, troubling situations, we find ourselves walking in uncharted territory. Walking into the unknown can be intimidating and fearful.
Many thoughts fill our mind especially when we get time to relax and pray. Sometimes these thoughts and fears can be so overwhelming that we have trouble praying and reading the word of God.
That’s why it’s so important to have the word of God written in your heart. Memorizing and declaring the promises of God every day means that in the tough situations, these verses are easy to recall.
Today we are so blessed to have easy access to the Word of God. You can Google it. It’s on your phone. Bibles are relatively cheaper to purchase today than in the past. About 100 years ago, Bibles were so expensive that often you had only one family Bible shared by all members of the family!
As you walk into the unknown, remember the word of God. “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.” Keep prayer and the word of God foremost in your life. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your steps and decisions. And rest assured that He is with you in the good and the bad times.

Prayer When Walking into the Unknown
Oh Heavenly and lovely Father, your love abounds beyond measure. In this season where I’m walking in the unknown, I seek your guidance and assurance. Bless me oh Lord with your wisdom to discern your way for my life.
Build my faith that I can trust you each and every day to lead me through. Lord, let it be your will and not mine. May I have that trust and confidence in you to know that all things will work out for good for those who love you.
Lord, I pray for financial resources to arrive in time to fulfill my needs. Father I know your timing is perfect and I trust you even though I walk through the valley of death. I also pray for healing of sickness and disease for my family members and others close to me.
Thank you, God that you are the source of my supply, my health, my success, my provision. All these I ask in no other name, but the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
