Prayer For The New Month Of August!

Isaiah 43:18-19 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

It’s a new month. A new beginning. As you prepare to start this new month, take some time to dedicate it to the Lord. 

Have you been hurt in the past? Are you carrying a burden of anger, unforgiveness, hatred, malice in your heart?

As this month begins, release it all to the Lord. Free yourself up to truly serve the Lord. The LORD wants to do a new thing with you! And He will make a way where there seems to be no way!

Let Us Pray

Heavenly and merciful Father, thank You for the blessings of this new month. Thank you for Your grace to rise afresh to see a new day, a new month.

Oh Lord, I ask that You go before me this month, guiding me to know and understand Your ways. 

Direct my steps each and every day. Fill me with Your joy and love. Oh Lord, grant me the grace of peace and tranquility throughout this month. 

May I be blessed with patience and faith in all that I encounter. May I be an overcomer through Christ!

My God, renew my spirit. Renew my joy. Renew my strength. May Your grace rain down upon me. 

Ease my burdens, oh Lord,  by removing all obstacles from the path of the plans You have for me.

My God, please bless me during this month with success. may I live each day with a grateful heart, giving thanks and praise to Your wonderful name. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
