Prayer for peace as you lay down to rest

Psalm 4:8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

As you close off your day, take some time to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Our God keeps us safe and protects us. 

As you surrender all to God, His peace and love envelop you. He renews your strength as you sleep, preparing you for the new day. 

Rest assured, in faith, that he will supply all your needs and protect and watch over you and your family.

Let Us Pray

Oh Heavenly Father, I give you thanks for the love you shower upon me. Thank you for your covering of grace over my life.

Proverbs 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

Oh Lord, as I lay my head down to sleep, give me rest and peace. Cover my family under your protective arm. Keep us safe.

Psalm 3:5 I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me.

And, as the new day dawns, bless us with all that we need. Let your children not go without. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
