Prayer for Blessing on Your Family this Fall

Isaiah 40:6-8

A voice says, “Cry out.” And I said, “What shall I cry?”

“All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.
The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them.
Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”

Fall is a season of transition. The colors are stupendous. The flowers fall, the leaves change color. Nature prepares itself for the onset of winter. It’s a last call to enjoy the many colors of nature around us. And it’s a season to look to the Lord, in prayer, worship and thanksgiving.

God’s Word endures forever. John 1 tells us that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word made flesh. Let us stand on the promises of God throughout this season of change.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, pour out your blessings upon this household. Be with this family. Bring your peace love and understanding to each member.

Lord, the enemy is trying to stir up discord and frustration. But You are a God of peace. With You, we will overcome. 

This seasonal period of transition will be a period of the manifestation of your abundant blessings on our lives. In Jesus name, Amen.
