Prayer – Being a channel of God’s love

As a child of God, sharing God’s love to others should be a natural part of our daily lives. Let us bless those around us today: family, friends, neighbors. Let us be a light!

Prayer: Dear God, make me a channel of your love. Guide me to that stranger or person today who needs my love, or support, or needs me in any way that will please you. Give me the right words and thoughts to lead them to you and show them your peace. Let me be a blessing to them. In Jesus name, Amen!   

Today’s Declaration:  I set myself to depart from everything that represents sin, so that I will become a vessel of honor, that is fit for the master’s use, and ready for every good work.   

Today’s Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:19-21  Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm,    bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,”  and “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”   

20. In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver,  but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. 

21. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes,    made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
