Powerful Prayer For Spiritual Growth and Strength

Are you finding it difficult to pray? Has fasting become a thing of the past? Do you pray by obligation, or you look forward to spending time with the Lord?

AD!

Maybe, you used to intercede on behalf of family members, friends, and co-workers, but it has been a long time since you did so?

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

In the Bible, Jesus said that we should love God with all of our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). A strong spiritual life helps us to grow closer to God.

The world is full of sinful temptations. Sometimes, it is easy to get caught up in the world and forget about your spiritual life.

Prayer is an important part of the Christian life because God listens and answers prayers. When we pray, we can feel closer to Him and let Him know what we need.

Guard your spiritual life. Guard your relationship with God. Read the Bible daily so you keep your light on and receive daily renewal and cleansing. Pray also in the spirit, for we do not wrestle against what is seen, but against forces of darkness in the heavenly places.

Psalms 119:130 The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Let Us Pray

Father, my spiritual life is under attack. My prayer life is under attack. I have not fasted for a long time. I don’t make time to study your word anymore. When I pray, I pray out of fear of the enemy. When I read the Bible, I read it out of obligation.

Father, You know that I want my spiritual life to flourish but I just don’t have the strength and courage.

I want to be a prayer Warrior but every time I start praying, it will only be one day or two, then I will lack consistency. Oh Lord help me. Please give me the hunger and thirty to delve into more of you and your word as I can take my spiritual life seriously.

Make me a prayer warrior and a watchman for my family. Give me the grace of intercession that I may pray until solutions are birthed. Lift me up from prayerlessness and fill me with passion for prayer.

Take me out from this emptiness and lack of your word and fill me with your word. Bless me with the understanding of your word and give me love to study it, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Oh Lord, every spirit of witchcraft fighting against my spiritual life, let it be scattered now in the name of Jesus Christ. Every power assigned to bring my prayer life down, I command you to lose your hold now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Stagnation in my spiritual life, delays, and limitation, what are you still waiting for? Lose your hold over my life right now, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 2:15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; He triumphed over them by Him.

It is written that the light shined into darkness, and darkness could not overpower it. Spirit of prayerlessness, you spirit of slumber that makes me sleepy when I’m supposed to pray, the light of God is shining over my life right now, and no trace of darkness will overpower it.

Let there be light in my Bible study life! Let there be light in my fasting life. Let there be light in my prayer life. Let there be light in my spiritual life, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I am an overcomer, I am a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me. I am a prayer warrior. I am a world changer. I am a giant killer. The gates of hell will not prevail against me, in the name of Jesus Christ.

1John 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

Thank You Jesus Christ for giving me victory. Thank You for disarming and triumphing over the powers of darkness and making them a public spectacle. Thank you Father that my prayerlessness and spiritual ignorance are broken. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
