Persevering under trial – You will stand the test!

James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

We’d love to not have any pain, suffering, bad breaks, betrayals, trials or losses, but that’s not reality of life. Pain does come. Difficulties do appear. But through it all, God is preparing the child of God. 

You will stand the test. God knows what you need to serve Him and what you need to make you stronger. When you recognize it’s all just a test that you can withstand, you will rise above it all, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Don’t just go through it; grow through it and keep a good attitude. Count it all joy, knowing that this pain is going to lead to your gain.

Let Us Pray

Heavenly and wonderful Father, thank You that there is a purpose in the pain I am experiencing. Lord, I know that You will not test me beyond what I can endure. But sometimes it all seems too much. 

Be will me, Lord. Thank You for preparing me and making me stronger. May I grow in faith. I declare that I will count it all joy and I will overcome whatever I face. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
