????Overcoming Anxiety and Fear

2 Timothy 1:7 – For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Avenues for fear and anxiety surrounds us daily. Being a Christian doesn’t exempt us from those feelings of fear and uncertainty. But as children of God, we can count on our faith in God’s Word to take us through these times and to overcome fear and anxiety.

Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

The Holy Spirit walks with you today. But, do you spend time in communion with the Holy Spirit? Are you listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit or cowering in fear because of the negative words of the enemy? Who has power in your life today?

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Don’t allow fear and anxiety to trump your faith. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Fill your heart and mind with God’s Word and stand on your faith daily!
