Psalm 42:5 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
You woke up in the morning, not feeling excited for what the day holds ahead. You are struggling to shake off these negative emotions and to move forward in faith and God’s strength. Instead, you feed on the discouragement and depressing words of others.
The Psalmist David found himself speaking back to himself. Why be downcast when I have the Lord on my side? Stop looking at your problems and start looking at Your God!
As you relax and trust in Him, He will show you opportunities and open your eyes to answers.
