Evening Prayer of Refreshment

Psalm 8:1 Oh LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

Oh Heavenly Father, today I have been burdened and stressed. I have been exhausted beyond the norm. But, My God, my health and strength comes from You! 

My God, strengthen me. Refresh my spirit. Enliven my soul. May my rest tonight be safe, peaceful and refreshing. 

Lord, thank You for Your loving care and attention. Bless my home and my family. Fill this home with peace and love. May we all respect each other and bring honor and glory to Your name!

Heavenly Father, I lay all my burdens and stresses of the day at Your feet. I will relax and trust in You. You have always been true to Your Word. 

I’m covered in the blood of Jesus. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray and declare, Amen!

Psalm 8:3-5 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.
