Don’t Block Your Blessings (through fear)

2 Timothy 1:7 (Amp) For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

AD!

The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7, “For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” What thoughts are blocking your blessings from the Lord? Is fear controlling you and holding you back from all God has in store for you?

Fear is the opposite of faith. And without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Fear keeps you stuck and stagnated.

What is your fear?

What are you afraid of?

Fear of the future – the unknown? Trust God to guide your steps and take you where He leads you.

Fear of failure? Place God first in your life and allow Him to take you to success.

Fear of being hurt? Pray and trust the Lord to guide your thoughts and decisions, and to lead you to the right people, while giving you a spirit of discernment.

Whatever it is, know that greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. God did not give you a spirit of fear.

Over to you

Let us Pray

Heavenly Father, I release my fears and lay them at your feet. I declare my trust in you, Oh Lord. Guide and direct my life. Lead me where I should go.

You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind.

As I continue to develop a closer relationship with You, I thank You, Abba Father for the release of all fear. Thank you for providing the inner peace that I require and for Your guidance and protection over my life. I claim it! I call it done!

I’m releasing the reins of my life into your hands, Lord. Build my faith and strength. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
