Do it without complaining!

Philippians 2:14,15 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world…

Do you find yourself in a cycle of daily complaining? You complain about the work, the salary, the boss, your children, your spouse, your finances, your church, your day. The list goes on and on.

The Apostle Paul admonishes to do everything without complaining. He goes on to explain why. We can’t shine as lights of the world when we are always complaining and arguing. We can’t change the world around us, when we fill others with negativity instead of God’s light. So let’s be without blame or fault in this crooked generation! Create a positive space around you at work, home, or school.

PRAYER

Heavenly and merciful Father, I can sit here complaining for hours about everything that is happening in my life. But today I choose to step out in faith and see the victory before me. Lord, I bless the situations and people around me. I choose not to complain but to encourage. 

Today, Lord, I smile in the midst of the chaos. I choose to sing on the rough waters and I choose to dance in the middle of the rain, all for the glory and honor of You, my King. The enemy is defeated, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
