Are You Walking On Water?

Matthew 14:31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?

As Jesus is walking across the rough and stormy waters, he has called out to you to come. And you started well, walking on the water until you looked down and doubts and fear filled your mind.

Even as you are sinking in doubt and fear, Jesus hasn’t abandoned you. Instead, He reaches out His hand to you asking, “Why do you doubt?”. 

Yes, God wants to take you places that will boggle your mind. But you can’t get there when you are afraid to trust Him at His word and get out of the safety of the boat and walk across the waters.

Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father, thank You for being there for me throughout the storms and rigours of life.  As You call out to me, I choose to listen and obey. Lord, fill me with discernment that I may hear and know Your voice. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
