Are You Resting In The Lord?
Exodus 33:14 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Are you seeking the presence of the Lord? Actually, many of you are. Your feedback testify to the peace and calm you receive on ChristiansTT and after spending time in the Word of God and seeking His presence.
When we seek the Lord, and allow His presence to be with us, we can receive His rest. Yet, sometimes we refuse to seek His presence and take His rest.
Take time to rest in Him, glory in His Word, in His presence and in His love.
Take time away from the stresses and worries of life and allow the Lord to guide you daily.
Exodus 33:3 “…Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way.”
Earlier in the chapter, God told Moses to go ahead, “I will not go with you, but I’ll send an angel with you.” God did not want to go with them, because they were a “stiff-necked” people!
Do you see yourself as such? Are you stubborn, resisting the will of God for your life and preferring to do your own thing?
Let us seek after the presence of the Lord. Let us dwell in His presence and love. His mercies never ceases. Each new morning, they are new again!
Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Let Us Pray
Heavenly Father, Your love for me is so great. Yet, so often I drift away from Your presence! Embrace me, Oh Lord. Keep me in Your loving arms.
Each and every day, I come to You for guidance and answers. Don’t turn Your back on me, Lord.
Bless me and keep me. Fill me to overflowing, that I may bless others. Let me testify of Your love and greatness. Give me utterance to speak Your Word to others, in love. In Jesus’ mighty and precious name I pray, Amen!
