Are You Blaming God?

Proverbs 19:3 (TPT) There are some people who ruin their own lives and then blame it all on God.

Some people do blame God for their current predicament. Often they blame everyone but themselves! The government, the church, God, the pastor, the neighbor. 

But Proverbs 19 gives us many ways we could put ourselves in negative positions. Verse 15  speaks about being lazy, while verse 16 advises us to honor God’s instructions and life will go well with you! Don’t choose your own plans but God’s!

Proverbs 19: 15-16  Go ahead – be lazy and passive. But you’ll go hungry if you live that way.

16 Honor God’s holy instructions and life will go well for you. But if you despise his ways and choose your own plans, you will die.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You that all Your holy instructions for me are designed and geared towards building me up. Help me dear Lord to open my heart to your instructions and to learn and be motivated by Your great plans for my life. I may not see it all now, Lord, but I trust in Your Word. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
