Prayer To Seek First The Kingdom of God

AD!

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The Lord does not want us to be worried as Gentiles, in search of things that are our birthright from our Father. He wants us to trust Him, and, instead of getting all worked up searching for our own things, we should rather be concerned about pleasing Him and doing His will.

Luke 4:42 And when daybreak came, Jesus left [Peter's house] and went into an isolated [desert] place. And the people looked for Him until they came up to Him and tried to prevent Him from leaving them.

Jesus isolated Himself so He can have alone time with the Father. He sought for God, but the people sought for Him.

When you seek God, people will seek you. Customers will come looking for your product. Marriage will come your way, and destiny helpers will locate you.

When you seek God, He adds all things unto you as He has promised in His Word.

Let Us Pray

Dear Lord, sometimes I find myself worried and all worked up, looking for my own things, and worried about how I can make it. I find myself seeking for my needs and wants more than I seek You.

But Your Word reminds me that when I seek You, all the other things will be added unto me.

ABBA Father, please help me to know that all I need and want is in You. When I find You, I find all things that I am searching for.

Lord, help me to put You first in all things. May I ever seek You and your will. May my desire be to know You and to be in Your presence; for in Your presence there’s fullness of joy, and at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalms 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Lord, You did not call us to seek You in vain; but when we seek You, we find You. When we seek You, we gain more relevance and people seek for us. When we seek You, we lack no good thing.

Isaiah 45:19b I did not say to the seed of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain’…

Psalms 34:10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Today, as I learn to seek You, may I find You, who is the source of all I need. May I find joy in Your presence, and the type of pleasure which is only found in You. In the name of my wonderful Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
