Prayer For New Beginnings

Gracious Lord,

Thank you for all of your care and compassion throughout my life.

Thank you for being there for me through every stage of my life. I’m about to go on a new adventure in my life, Father.

And, as things stand now, I have no idea how this will turn out. However, you do.

I pray that you direct my steps and lead me in the right direction.

Teach me how to do things correctly.

Give me the bravery and strength I need to start a new chapter in my life.

Help me to focus on your word and what you have in store for me rather than on my past.

Calm my worried mind so I don’t have to be concerned about the future.

Thank you for this new phase in my life and for giving me the courage to take the next step.
