⛓ Prayer – Release, Move On From The Past
Isaiah 43:18. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”
We have all been hurt, disappointed, treated unfairly. But, we certainly will not move forward, if we are constantly looking back. We need to release the hurt, the pain, so that we can look ahead to the glory and blessings the Lord has in store for us.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
You are a new creature in Christ. The anger, the bitterness is no longer of you. God wants to do a new thing in your life. Yet, you can’t receive it because you are focus on the past instead of the glory God has in store for you.
Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
The past is done. Forgive those who have hurt you and offended you. Let it go and let God!
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
