Prayer To Overcome And Draw From The Lord

Are you weary? Are you tired of being strong? Have you lost the strength to be consistent, persistent and to persevere? Has your spiritual life become weak? Are you finding it difficult to find customers for your business? Are you about to give up on your dreams?

This morning, as I was having a conversation with a friend, the Holy Spirit told me that every area of our lives depends on our fellowship with Him.

Sometimes, the problem is not your business. Your business gets life from you. When you are in communion with the Lord, you will draw life from Him, and that same life will flow to your business.

A lot of us are struggling in one way or another. We are trying to fix our situations. Trying to make our spouse a little more understanding. Trying to heal from disappointments. Trying to forgive without success. And trying to see which business will work for us.

But the Holy Spirit says that we are not full. We need to draw life from Him. We need to wait upon Him in the secret place. It is the life we draw from Him that flows to every area of our lives.

Isaiah 40:31. But those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

Fix your relationship with God. Get intimate with the Holy Spirit. He is the source of extraordinary strategy.

John 15:5. I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.

Let Us Pray.

Father God, today I come before you, vulnerable and in need of your help. My prayer life is growing cold. I rarely take out time just for You and me. I have grown weary and I lack the strength that I need to be consistent, persistent and to persevere.

Oh Lord, I need your mercy. I have come to draw strength from You, Lord. Lord, give me strength to seek you. Take away my weariness and my discouragement, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 40:29. He gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak.

Father, without You I can do nothing. You are the Vine and I am a branch. I draw my water and nutrients from You.

Your Word says that if I remain in You, I will bear much fruit. Help me today to remain in You, that I may bear fruit.

Help me to remain in You, that my marriage may be a success, that my business may prosper and that every part of my life may receive life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Ephesians 6:10. In conclusion, be strong in the Lord, [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him, [that strength which His boundless might provides].
