Today’s world often leaves us weary and stressed. The local and world events of the day can be very troubling and even frustrating.
Yet, the child of God lives each day joyfully.
You too has access to this peace, calm and joy. As a child of the living God, His promises are directed at you.
You were not given a spirit of fear and dread. You were given a spirit of power, of might, of love.
The enemy will try to take away your peace. But hold on to your faith. Keep your eyes on the Lord. Allow God’s peace to surround you, even in these troubled times.
Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
Start each day reminding yourself: “I am anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I let my requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6).”
