Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Do you want to be transformed concerning a certain area of your life? Renew your mind. It takes a renewed mind for you to walk in victory in Christ over situations. It takes a renewed mind for one to overcome addictions. It takes a renewed mind to overcome sin and walk in God’s will for your life.
This is not only true for spiritual aspects, but even physical aspects require a renewed mind-set. This is where personal development comes in. Personal development renews your mind.
Ephesians 4:22, 23 Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude],
As we await the full manifestation of God’s promises for us this year, let us renew our minds by meditating on the word of God and by prayer.
