Why is this being used here?

Genesis 9:15-17 “and I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures. Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life. When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth.” Then God said to Noah, “Yes, this rainbow is the sign of the covenant I am confirming with all the creatures on earth.”

Monday’s newsletter displayed a rainbow in the title. The rainbow was given as a reminder of God’s covenant. So, I was surprised when I received this response:

“Hello ChristiansTT, hope all is well with you, but why is LGBT flag is being post here?”

Personally, I am not aware of any such flag. I don’t have time to focus on the news. I try to keep my focus on the Lord, and the Word of God.

Psalm 34:5-7 Keep your eyes on the Lord! You will shine like the sun
and never blush with shame. I was a nobody, but I prayed, and the Lord saved me from all my troubles.

Too often, as Christians, we allow what the world is doing to control us, instead of being the light and salt. If one day, some group decides to adopt the word “Christian”, would we suddenly decide that it’s wrong for us to use this word!?
