Delight yourself in the Lord!

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord,  and He will give you the desires of your heart.

God wants to meet our deepest desires – not just physical, but emotional and spiritual too! When we enjoy our experience with the Lord, on a daily basis, when it is not a chore, but a joy we look forward to, our hearts will be in line with the things of God. And He promises to give us the delights of our hearts!

Let Us Pray

Oh Heavenly Father, I’ve lost the desire I once had for your Word and prayer and worship time. My God, bless me with the grace to once again enjoy the beauty of your Word. Fill me with joy as I worship you and praise your name. 

Let me once again delight myself in You, my Lord. You are all I need. You never forsake me. Though at times I may feel alone, I know you walk with me always. Your angels encamp around me.

Thank you for your daily Word and blessings upon my life. Keep me and preserve me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
