????Prayers When Facing The Storms Alone
Mark 4:37 (Classic Amplified Bible) “And a furious storm of wind [of hurricane proportions] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled.”
How do you handle and react to the storms of life? Some of us are facing severe weather conditions: extreme heatwaves, droughts, floods, storms, and tornadoes.
The disciples and Jesus were crossing the Sea of Galilee when a violent storm began to rage. The disciples were terrified and faithless in the midst of this situation. They allowed fear to take control, instead of looking toward Jesus and taking their cue from him. Jesus was at peace through it all!
When the storms arise and threaten, take a moment and seek out the peace of God. Instead of the sleepless nights and the tossing and turning, leave it all in the hands of the Lord and seek your peace.
Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
