Does Discipline Benefit the Child of God?

Today’s testimony submitted by a fellow patreon Amanda.

AD!

Hebrews 12:11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

There were times that I felt lazy to go to work. It can be discouraging to work for a low paying wage and a cruel boss.

But I would discipline myself. I learned to motivate myself through the Word. I would wake up and remind myself that I am working for the Lord.

Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

After working hard for years, I was promoted as a supervisor and was able to help uplift my subordinates and contribute to overall improvement with the management.

I continued my studies and got my dream job to heal and care for the sick. I was able to help and bless my family. I was able to travel to different countries and experience peace and joy. Thank God!
