????Breaking Free from Spiritual Strongholds
“Forgive one another lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11
Today, many Christians remain ignorant of Satan’s evil. And a large number of Christians are tormented by fears, bound and controlled by addictions and sins, and are burdened with relationship problems.
“Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of strongholds” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4.
Our weapons are not physical, for our warfare is spiritual in nature. So we must put on the full armor of God and take up our weapons of the truth, righteousness and the Gospel (Ephesians 6:14-17).
As we go into battle daily, we face strongholds erected by the enemy: pride, unforgiveness, lust, pleasure, greed, addictions, lack, doubt, lack of faith. We can also face these demonic strongholds in our own lives, in our families, and even in our churches.
Today, as you surrender to the will of the Lord, Jesus Christ and trust in His glory and power, we will claim the victory. You have the Holy Spirit. You have enough faith. Now is the time to exercise your faith, trust in God and watch Him work in your life. Let us pray like Elijah!
James 5:17-18 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
