????Is it okay not to be okay?

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

AD!

Are you struggling to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong? You know something is not right, but it’s difficult to pin it down? Everything you do seems to not work. Nothing you do is good enough.

You are having difficulty motivating yourself to wake up in the morning. Your body seems tired and extremely heavy. You find yourself being awakened at night, restless and unable to sleep well. The simplest things get to you.

You find yourself having panic attacks and constantly doubting yourself. You just don’t feel right. Feelings of worthlessness invade your mind and permeate your thoughts.

But:

* You are a child of the King.

* You are the head and not the tail.

* He will put you above and not below.

* All things work together for your good.

Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Have you fallen short? 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Do you feel condemned because of your past? (Romans 8:1-2) “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”

Trouble trying to get you down? Rejoice in the Lord! (James 1:2-4): “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

Are you afraid? “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 NIV)

Despite all that’s happening around you, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.” (Proverbs 3:5-7)

And most of all, cast all of it on the Lord. let him handle your stresses, anxiety and cares.

“Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” (Psalm 55:22)

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7 NIV)

Remember when you feel weak, where your strength comes from: “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Phil 4:13)

And your help comes from no one else but the lord himself! (Psalm 121: 1,2) I lift my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth!

and (Psalm 121:7,8):  The Lord will keep you from all harm, he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore.
