1 Thessalonians 2:18 For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but Satan blocked our way.

Every time you desire progress, recognize that the devil may raise barriers. These barriers could take the form of adverse events, circumstances, opposition from people, health challenges, etc. 

These barriers are not from God. They are the works of the devil. While they may slow your progress, keep your faith, knowing that the Lord is working for you and will take you through. We are in a spiritual battle. But we are victorious through Christ!

Ephesians 6:12 reminds us: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
