Prayer for Closure and Peace of Mind

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

AD!

In times of grief and sorrow, closure may seem ever so distant. But your agony and despair is not permanent.

Psalm 30:5 tells us: Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. The night may seem long and dark, but it will pass. And with the dawning of a new day will come joy and understanding.

The obstacles that have been placed in the way of your peace and closure are being dismantled. God is working things out for you this season. Already this year, you have seen His work in your life. Now He wants you to trust Him and even now to testify of His joy and favor upon your life.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” (Revelations 21:4).

Let Us Pray

Oh gracious and merciful Father, Your love for me is overwhelming. I give you thanks and praise for so many blessings throughout this year and those still to come.

Oh Lord, you know I have things that I need closure on before the end of this year. So many obstacles and hurdles I’ve been faced with. Please, lift them all, and manifest the answers to my prayers.

Oh Lord, my feet are firmly planted and I stand on your Word. I will not be swayed or moved from your ways. I’m blessed with Your peace, my mind finds comfort in Your Word. I release Your peace over my life today. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
