Powering Through This Week through Faith!
Our faith in Christ is our source of power. Your faith helps you to overcome and be triumphant.
What is faith? Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not yet seen.
Faith gives us that confidence that our prayers have been answered, even when there is no physical manifestation of the answer. When you pray and move in faith, you are trusting that the Lord will answer your prayers.
The Lord told us that even with the faith of just a mustard seed, we can move mountains! You have it within you to move mountains and overcome hurdles!
And you can pray for increase in your faith. In Luke 22:32, Jesus prayed for Peter’s faith to be strengthened. God is the Author and the Perfecter of your faith.
When you speak to someone without faith, they are totally dumbfounded about your belief. They may even ask for some form of physical evidence. But we operate at a level they cannot understand. Their understanding is carnal and not spiritual.
As we trust in the Lord, we realize that we have it within us to calm the storms, through our faith in Jesus Christ (Matthew 8:26). In the same way, don’t allow the storms of life to create fear within you. Have faith, and conquer.
Has God asked something too hard of you? Has He called you to walk what seems a lonely pathway? Do you feel overwhelmed by your situation? Do you feel that God has not heard your prayers and is not on His way to help you? Today become as a child, trust Him blindly.
Let us Pray
Almighty God, my Creator, You said that everything I ask for in prayer, believing that I already have it, will be mine. Lord, I stand on Your Word today, confessing that I have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God!
I have faith to believe, even though I may not see at this time and I know that nothing can separate me from Your love. I continue to trust and believe that all things work together for good to those who love You.
Sweet Jesus, I love You! These things I pray, in no other name but the most precious, awesome name of Jesus, SO BE IT…AMEN!
