????Another sign you are spiritually weak

This week, we have been looking at some of the causes and signs of spiritual problems in our life. Today we look at another: Fear.

Are you constantly fearful, panicked and worried? Is anxiety an almost permanent part of your life?

Job 4:5 NLT But now when trouble strikes, you lose heart. You are terrified when it touches you.

When you watch all the gloomy, dismal news, morning, noon and night, you are feeding yourself on all the negativity and fear. Are you worried and fearful about tomorrow? Fear and anxiety will drain you! 

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

So what do you do?  Pour out all our cares and stress upon Him and leave them there. He always tenderly cares for us.

1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.

You can’t be fearful and full of faith at the same time. The stronger you are, the more fear-free you will live.

Prayer

Heaven Father, I humbly bring all my fears and cares to You.  I cast the whole of my care, all my anxieties, all my worries, all my concerns, once and for all, on You. Lord, I know that You care for me affectionately and watchfully. 

Oh, Lord, I’m so anxious. I’m afraid of failure. I’m afraid of success. Fear of criticism overwhelms me. I’m afraid of being alone.   

But Lord, I trust in Your Word. I release all my fears and cares unto you. I stand knowing that You will make a way. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
