????The Joy of the Lord!

Proverbs 17:22  A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul. But the one whose heart is crushed struggles with sickness and depression.

Don’t walk around with a heavy heart, thinking that Christians must be sad. Paul and Silas was in prison and were singing and praying! Despite their circumstances they were singing, such that the other prisoners were listening to them! Yes, that means they were singing lustily!

Acts 16:25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

Prayer: 

Heavenly Father, fill me with the overwhelming joy of the Lord.  Your joy is unlike anything this world has to offer. It brings peace, trust and hope. 

Your Word says in Nehemiah 8:10, Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength! 

I will lift my eyes to the hills, Lord, because I know from You comes my joy and peace. Thank You, Father, and I love You. Amen!
