????Surviving the Storms

For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10 

The storms of life come to everyone of us. We get a bad medical report. A friend betrays us. Business seems to take a downturn.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 ESV 

How do you handle these difficult times? Do you trust the Lord even more or are you filled with doubt?

Now is the time to for us to trust in the Lord, and realize that we have it within us to calm the storms, through our faith in Jesus Christ. 

Don’t get bitter, don’t start complaining. But trust the Lord to turn those storms around for your good.

Prayer:

Gracious and Bountiful Father, the storms are coming at me from all angles. I am under attack by the enemy. My life feels upside down. But Lord, I know this is a time when You will shine forth for me. So, fill me with the faith and courage to trust You at Your Word and Promises, May I at all times speak testimonies of the greatness of my God. Hold me close and never let me go, for You said You will never leave me nor forsake me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
