Relationships are not always easy. But they can be a blessing. They can reflect the love and heart of God,  reminding us how much we are loved, encouraging us when we want to give up, uplifting our weary spirits,, and inviting us into the fullness of life.

Today, I pray for your relationships, for love and peace and the blessing of God.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I ask a special blessing on those reading this prayer. Fill them with your love and your understanding. Help them to be a blessing and a demonstration of your love to their family. Give them the wisdom to love and trust.   

Restoring inner peace

Heavenly Father, Anger, hatred and bitterness is not of You. You are the God of grace, God of peace, God of mercy but most importantly, You are the God of love. Restore Your peace within them.

Teach them to forgive and resolve any conflicts which may arise, immediately and peacefully. 

Better Relationships between Husband and Wife

Oh Heavenly Father, we thank you for the union of husbands and wives. Lord, you say this is a great mystery, that two shall become one, and be joined together by you.

Father, we bless those who have entered into marriage. We speak abundant peace, love and joy over their union, may they grow ever deeper in intimacy with each other.

Prayer For your Marriage/Relationship

Oh Lord, I believe you are working in my life and that of my spouse to reconcile us back to to you and to each other.

Lord, stir my spouse’s thoughts with the same good and loving thoughts that existed when our love for each other was still very strong.

Let my heart and that of my spouse burn in love for you and for each other.

Draw us closer to each other

Bless our relationship and draw us both even closer to You and to your will for our lives. May I never be unequally yoked.

Lord, teach and guide us that we will always seek You first in everything we do. May our love be fill with genuine affection and may we honor each other at all times.

Thank you, Father for those who listen in times of need, and for those that offer counsel when trouble comes.

Thank you Father, for every soft word spoken at the right time, every embrace that has held us together, and every shoulder we have cried upon when in time of need.

Let Your perfect love cast out all of my fears related to our relationship. I rest assured that You will unite our hearts as one, following after Your Word. In Jesus name, Amen.
