We are in a spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
While we are to remain alert, we have also been well prepared by the Lord. We have been armed with the sword, the Word of God, to conquer the lies of the enemy.
His Holy Spirit gives us strength, wisdom and most of all, discernment to overcome the tricks and wiles of the enemy.
And we have an open invitation to spend quality time in His Presence through prayer and worship.
