????What Just Happened?
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Yesterday evening, I was attending a special church meeting. Just about 14 of us. It was raining and wet so I dropped my wife off where she could safely enter the premises and proceeded to park the car. As I left the car and stepped upon the concrete, I slipped and fell. It was all so sudden! I tried to break the fall as much as possible but did hit the side of my head against the concrete.
What had just happened? I was stunned! As I lay on the ground, I looked for my glasses. They were close by, on the ground, but broken.
I then reached for my phone and looked at it. It was intact. I tried calling my wife, but without my glasses, I dialed the wrong number! I tried again, and this time the message came on that the device was switched off! I called yet again, and this time I heard her answering the phone. I asked her to come, alone.
As she exit the door and saw me on the floor, she called out for help! Everyone came out and two guys helped me up. I was surprised that nothing was broken, or strained. Thank God!
I continue to give God thanks and praise. In an instant, I could have been dead. Keep me in your prayers. And do not hesitate to ask for prayers yourself!
