Colossians 3:8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

We often speak of others getting us angry. We turn the tables on others and blame them for our anger. But when the Bible speaks about anger, it warns us to rid others of such. We are responsible for our anger and we need to take action to bring it under control. 

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

The Bible tells us, “the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God” (James 1:20). Take control. Smile more. Meditate on the Word of God instead of dwelling of the negativity around you. Feed yourself on the Word. And appreciate the love of God in your daily life!
