Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

Some dreams you should keep to yourself. Joseph didn’t understand this in his early years. And when he had a dream that his older brothers would bow down before him one day, he couldn’t help but tell everyone. This led to jealousy and anger.

Not everyone wants you to succeed. Not everyone wants you to be blessed. When the Lord lays certain things on your heart, be careful who you tell. Like Joseph’s brothers, they may not be willing to celebrate your future success with you.

So this weekend, feed your faith and your doubts will starve to death!

Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father, I give you thanks for all that you have laid on my heart. My Lord, there are so many times when I am confused, frustrated, impatient as I await all that You have promised.

My God, fill me with faith and patience. May I trust in You and in Your process. Take away the doubts that arise today.

I take delight in You and in Your Word. I give You praise and all the glory. You are my God, my Redeemer. May I know when to speak, who to speak to, and when to remain silent. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
