???? Prayer for God’s Favor

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

As a believer, as a child of God, you can believe that His plans for you are for good. The Bible is filled with verses that testify of the goodness of God towards His people. 

His favor rests on us as we seek after Him. He will open doors for us, and close doors that are not in our best interest. His plans for us are for good.

Joseph says in Genesis 50:20,  “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.”

Here are some verses that testify of God’s favor:

“For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.” Psalm 5:12

“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands…” Psalm 90:17

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11

“…but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalm 30:5

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
