????Praying Bold Prayers
Hebrews 13:6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
Elijah prayed that it wouldn’t rain, and for three and a half years there was no rain! He prayed boldly and with faith.
When you pray, are your prayers bold? Would you pray that the rain stop? Or pray that the rains fall? Are you afraid to pray boldly because you are worried about failing? the bold succeed because they are the only ones brave and bold enough to act!
When Elijah was getting old, he asked his assistant Elisha, “What do you want me to do for you?”
2 Kings 2:9 And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
Elisha answer was bold. He didn’t ask for a half, or the same as Elijah. He asked for double!
Are your prayers too small? Are you afraid to go boldly before the Lord? Is there anything too hard for the Lord?
