????Is Your Enemy Hungry?

Proverbs 25:21 Is your enemy hungry? Buy him lunch. Win him over with your kindness.  Your surprising generosity will awaken his conscience and God will reward you with favor.  

As a child of God, you have victory over your enemies. There are numerous verses about the power of the child of God over enemies. We do not battle against flesh and blood but against the forces of darkness  (Read Ephesians 6:12). We release God’s protection by submitting ourselves to Him! 

James 4:7 tells us, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Place God first in your life, and walk in His divine protection and favor. And pray for your enemies! Overcome their evil with good.

Romans 12:19-21 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Prayer: Heavenly and merciful Father,  I earnestly pray that I cast out hatred and love those who have been difficult in my life. I pray to forgive those who have terribly hurt me in the past. May I readily accept their apology and be one who practices Your agape love to everyone. Help me, Oh Lord, to truly forgive and release them. I pray for them now, in Jesus name, Amen!
